Your garage door is important; you use it every day, sometimes multiple times per day. Before you call a professional, try a few tips to care for and preserve your garage doors.

Listen

Clean and Preserve

The mechanics are not the only important issues; your doors should be check for dings, chips, rust, weatherstripping damage, etc. Chipped paint and dings can rust in some metal doors, and wood doors can suffer water damage. Paint, sand, clean, and do all other things to maintain your doors.
